4U Training League:
*8 games – starting May 1st – Mid July
*Games are 1 hour long
*All games are played at Ballwin Athletic Association on Field 7
*Games are Scheduled throughout the week with most of their games being on Saturday and Sundays
*All players will get a team shirt and hat that they get to keep
*Players are responsible for getting their own pants, gloves, and a bat
*4u is coach pitched, if a player has difficulties hitting after so many pitches by coach, a tee can be used.
*All players bat and play in the field every inning
*All players will receive a trophy at the end of the season
*No parent work duty for the 4u league
*This league is to get the kids on the field and to start learning the basics of baseball.
*Team Maximum is 10 players
5U-6U Baseball/Softball League:
*12 games – starting towards end of April – Mid July
*Games are an hour in a half
*All games are played at Ballwin Athletic Association on Field 7
*All players will get a team shirt and hat to keep
*Players are responsible for getting their own glove, pants, and bat
*5u is coach pitched and 6u is hitting from a pitching machine. A tee can be used at any time if a player is having a hard time hitting the ball.
* All players hit and play in the field every inning.
*Catcher’s gear and helmets are available to for coach to borrow from Ballwin Athletic.
*Practices are up to each individual team and coach
*1 parent work duty is required or you can buy out.
*Each player will receive a trophy at the end of the year.
*Team Maximum is 15 players
7U Baseball/Softball league:
*12 games starting Mid April – Mid July
*All games are played at Ballwin Athletic Association on Field 6
*Games are an hour in a half
*Games can be any day of the week and could be at 8pm as well. (We try to keep 7u no later than 6pm start times but sometimes due to scheduling conflicts, a 8pm game might have to be played).
*All players will receive a team shirt and hat
*Catcher’s gear and helmets are available for coach to borrow from Ballwin Athletic.
*7U uses a pitching machine and you will have umpires.
*Practices are up to the individual team and coach
*1 parent work duty is required or you can buy out.
*Each player will receive a trophy at the end of the year.
*Team Maximum is 15 players
